"Out of the Forest" by David Castle
I worked in my familiar and safe cool color palette for this one, thinking about the colors and shadows of the mossy forest on the Oregon coast. Features highlights of metallic silver rivulets.
- Part of my Pacific Rains series, inspired by rivulets of rain.
- This oil and metallic watercolor painting on paper is mounted on gallery panel (1.5" deep) and sealed with varnish that contains UV filters for protection from light damage. Final varnish layer is a "glass-like" resin.
- All sides of the panel are painted and finished, so no frame is needed... it is ready for that perfect spot in your home!
