My Elementals and Jewels Series are inspired by nature in all of its forms - landscapes in my native Colorado, my beloved northwest coast, and "elsewheres" from all of my travels in North America and Europe. Both of these series are from my first decade as a full-time, abstract artist and are primarily in watercolor.
 
Elementals and Jewels are all individually-painted fields of square shapes - some truly abstract and others a bit representational of trees or the coast.
