"Crosspoints" by David Castle
This painting is about color and further perfecting my technique of scraping shapes out of the metallic silver layers. The "plus" symbols are rather about Ignatian spirituality.
- This oil and metallic watermedia painting on paper is mounted on gallery panel (1.5" deep) and sealed with varnish that contains UV filters for protection from light damage. Final varnish layer is a "glass-like" resin.
- All sides of the panel are painted and finished, so no frame is needed... it is ready for that perfect spot in your home!
