"Worlds Elsewhere" by David Castle
One of my unique "connected" Circles abstracts, this features nine 10 x 10 inch panels connected with aluminum bushings. I painted this as a single, large abstract on paper, cut it into nine pieces and mounted each to a 10 x 10 inch panel. Inspired by my love of science fiction and what I imagine other worlds might look like. Glowing metallic silver highlights the planetary circles.
- This oil and metallic watermedia painting on paper is mounted on nine gallery panels (1.5" deep), connected with aluminum bushings and sealed with varnish that contains UV filters for protection from light damage. Final varnish layer is a "glass-like" resin.
- All sides of the panel are painted and finished, so no frame is needed... it is ready for that perfect spot in your home!
